The Invisible Host
I am organizing our rental documents, decisions, and financial records into a guide and planned membership product.

- The challenge
- Turn knowledge spread across documents and daily routines into a guide another property owner can use.
- My contribution
- I am structuring the source material, writing the guide, and designing the product.
- The result
- The guide is in development. A membership product and an AI assistant are planned.
In this project
The same questions kept returning
After five years running rentals, my wife and I kept hearing the same questions from potential buyers. They wanted to know how we chose properties, which tools we used, and how we managed from Los Angeles.
Our answers were spread across documents, routines, and lessons from mistakes. The problem was making that knowledge clear enough for someone else to use.
Organize the decisions behind the business
I am turning our operating documents, interviews, and financial records into a practical guide. It covers property evaluation, setup, pricing, automation, and remote operations.
House Of provides working examples of the systems behind the guide. I am structuring the material around decisions and their tradeoffs, so readers can understand why we work this way.
Start with the guide
The guide is in development. A later membership product is planned, with an AI assistant that can retrieve answers from the source material.
My work covers research, content structure, and product design. The first task is to make our operating knowledge clear and usable in the guide.
Making supplement quality easier to assess
Next projectI lead design for SuppCo at Function Health, from product quality ratings to supplement and peptide routines.
